About Us

Pro Active Teamwear where established in 1999 by two business partners Glen Wilkinson & Alan Wood who still offer a hands on approach today.

Both directors used to work for a local sports shop that was ultimately affected when the big boys such as JJB and Sports Direct came to town.

They decided to jump ship and start in a niche market place focusing solely on the teamwear. Initially focusing locally and then saw massive potential to offering the products and services mail order.

We purchased our own heat press and started to offer in house printing, numbering and embroidery which gave us full control on the turn around times and service levels which we believe have made us the success we are today.

Now in 2011 we employ 4 full time sales personnel, 2 Accounts & Administration staff, 7 personnel in the dispatch, printing, embroidery & artwork design and have a database of 40,000 regular users.

The launch of our new integrated website in June 2011 will give us massive potential going forward. It means we can offer our products and services on line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and our capacity to manage orders becomes even better. We can now afford to offer some incredible online offers and rival some of the biggest online retailers on the web.

Furthermore it will soon mean that we can offer online club shops to clubs & teams who are affiliate members of our company. This facility will give us the potential to put a club shop online for a valuable customer, link it to the club or organisation and supply a particular product range with decoration to their members. It can include any decoration layout and the member can go online, buy the products and we will supply to the correct specification. This integrated facility will give us massive potential going forward and another fantastic facility to our associate customers.

Our portfolio of kit brands include NIKE, ADIDAS, PRO STAR, HUMMEL, STANNO, UHLSPORT & PRECISION TRAINING. We supply equipment from PRECISION TRAINING, DIAMOND & MITRE and footballs from MITRE, PRECISION TRAINING & NIKE.

We are also extremely proud to announce that we are the officials distributors of JAKO TEAMWEAR and PUGG GOALS.

Joining up with JAKO Teamwear has given us an additional boost. It means we can now supply other specialist sports retailers with a fabulous product range. Enter negotiations direct with clubs but more importantly it gives us an inroad into supplying the top level Pro Clubs. Since joining forces with Jako officially in April 2011 we have been working very 'Pro Actively'and have landed our very first pro club within 4 months.

East Stirlingshire become our highest profile club so far and they play in Scottish League Division 3. Also signed up are Leamington FC, Barton Town Old Boys, Cleethorpes Town, Grimsby Borough, Brigg Town & Lincoln United.

Jako are massive in Europe supplying Sturm Graz, Dynamo Dresden, FC Augsburg and many, many more. The range available to clubs is excellent with a 95% availability rate.
